The Six Senses Method is summarized in a manual that you can
receive immediately, written by Donald G. Monsanto, an expert
in the topic and that summarizes his own experiences as well
as the experiences and opinions of several doctors, psychologists,
sportsmen and other former smokers and the method also tells
you what to do, when to do it, and how to do it, so that you
can leave tobacco once and for all. The Method has been designed
so that it can be used by any person with certain degree of
understanding: definitively from adolescents up to adults,
doesn’t matter their sex, men or women, without caring
about ethnic origin, family status, revenues, location, education
level and occupation. It doesn't matter their lifestyle, hobbies,
interests and opinions or personal behavior.
It is a complete methodology that prepares you before beginning
the program to quit the addiction to tobacco and also gives
you the proper tools or physical and psychological supports,
as well as the whole procedure for the first three days and
later on, when the habit and the force of the addiction have
already disappeared from your organism.
The program
consists of seven sections.
The first one is an important review of
all the factors that turn someone into a smoker as well as
those that generate the habit and the addiction to tobacco.
The second section, are the first stages of the action plan
of the program, that helps you quit the addiction. It puts
in your hands a series of activities that will prepare the
smoker on a physical, emotional and spiritual way for the following
step that is to abandon tobacco once and for all.
The third section provides the devices and support material
that the smoker will need for each one of the five senses:
sight, taste, touch, smell, and hearing, as well as basic
material for the Common Sense.
Section four provides all the information on the methodology
that will be observed while the beneficial changes are
experienced during successive stages.
The fifth section refers to the considerations on the following
stage and provides the procedures and reinforcement activities
to maintain the decision.
The sixth section contains motivations and arguments
about your new life as a non smoker.
And finally on section seven gives you the final procedures
and features so that you can maintain the decision
of becoming a former smoker, for the rest of your life.
