I got married at the age of twenty-two. When I reached twenty-five,
I began to feel the negative effects of tobacco. By then I
smoked a daily package. I felt exhausted, had little resistance
to colds, agitated respiration and all my clothes smelled like
nicotine.
Then it came the first warning voice. Towards thirty, each
time that gave a “little puff” to a cigarette I
began to feel a light snip in the right lung. This began to
worry me, because I felt that tobacco was damaging my health
more than I could ever think.
That was when I began to do my initial reasoning about the
damage that tobacco was causing me and from there, I did my
first of much intents to stop smoking. Nevertheless I had no
premeditated plan to do it and each time that I tried it, after
a little time, downcast and frustrated I returned to cigarettes
loosing control and I wanted it more and more.
That was how the need to leave tobacco finally forced me to
search for aid. During the subsequent times, each occasion
that I tried to stop smoking, I practiced some new ideas or
tactics that represented support material, especially to the
senses of flavor, smell and touch, the more directly involved
senses with the act of smoking; using each time something different
and useful actions and procedures that provided me with backup
to continue with my decision. Nevertheless, as days passed,
the
lack of
an integral
program that helped me give monitoring to the decision of not
smoking more, I returned again to the cigarette.
Inside this plan, after some thirty failed intents to stop
smoking, I reached the age of forty-three. Already very angry
with me and with the nicotine, I thought, “And why not
gather all the elements that in many forms have helped me each
time that I have tried to quit smoking and use them all at
the same time?” And I did it! I got surprised by the
results. At that moment I had already incorporated support
material for the other two senses that was how it was born
what further on would be known as THE SIX SENSES METHOD that
allowed me, thanks to God, to leave tobacco once and forever!
Subsequently I incorporated the support material to a sixth
sense that would allow to include all the elements of the program: “The
Common Sense”. This was twenty-two years ago. That’s
how long I haven’t smoked. Because of that decision my
life changed radically.
During these last twenty-two years I set my self on a mission
to help other people stop smoking. We have achieved it along
these years with many smokers, including relatives and friends,
as well as friends of my friends, among those they are doctors,
sportsmen, executive and all a range of people of one and another
sex to whom we have helped with my detoxify and abandonment
program, that with time, like I indicated before, became THE
SIX SENSES METHOD.
Subsequently we formed a group, with former smokers that had
followed the original program, with whom we shared all our
experiences and ideas. They all have offered their valuable
support to the program and we have managed to perfect the method
with help from the entire group and the individual experiences
of each one of the members. That is how we created the FOUNDATION BY A FREE WORLD OF TOBACCO. Therefore this is my story and
how did the SIX SENSES METHOD was perfected.
Sincerely yours,
